Welcome to the course 2 Integrated Urban Planning and Development. This course is part of the Competence Platform for Integrated Urban Development and Reconstruction in Ukraine.

Over the span of 8 weeks, this course will provide a thorough examination of strategies and tools for creating livable, resilient, and inclusive urban environments. Distinguished experts from academia and practice bring their diverse expertise from international projects to offer a critical analysis of the prevailing urban challenges we face today.

What can you learn in this course?

By the end of the course participants will...

  •  be able to understand and explain what integrated urban development planning means and is for
  • be able to set up an INSEK process with all elements and process steps

Outline

The course consist of 8 chapters. Each chapter is also divided into theoretical sections, tools and case studies. It has a total length of 60 to 90 minutes and is divided into several lessons. A lesson consists of a video of 10-15 minutes. At the end of each chapter there is a recap part with a review and test as well as a short summary of the chapter via learning objectives.
